High-end coffee shop focused primarily on preparing and serving quality coffee and non-coffee-based beverages. Target audience is a higher-income, historic community dating back to the 1700s, with patrons ranging from high schoolers to working professionals and stay at home parents. Building is from the 1800s and will feature stonework to give an older feel (picture attached). We chose the name Barrister (definition: attorney or advocate) because the founding members are attorneys who have spent their careers in public service advocating on behalf of others. Now, starting a new venture, we wish to use our coffee shop not only to serve great coffee but as a platform to advocate for local causes within our community. Our shop will have a darker, bookish/English library feel to it and we felt the name Barrister reflected both the English heritage as well as our focus on continued advocacy.
Because Barrister will be located in Basking Ridge, we would like to have a focus on the "B" and the "R" (Example: BarristeR). We would like to incorporate darker greens and golds We have included some pictures of the vibe we are aiming for
