MensLetter.com; Relevant Reading for Discerning Men
We built a successful print and online children's directory over the last 16 years and recently sold it. We are starting a new business targeting a completely new market - men 40-65 yrs. We have always been associated with clean, sophisticated design; with the ultimate in customer service; with cutting edge innovation; with meeting the needs of our target in the most user friendly, accessible way possible (see our prev site http://www.helpwevegotkids.com)
pls DO NOT make the logo something to do with letters/envelopes - this is not a letter, it is a newsletter/e-zine
Product: e-newsletter/e-zine – Weekly newsletter encompassing topics such as wealth, health, sports, sex, fashion and lifestyle
Target market: men aged 40-65 who either are or want to be educated, upscale, successful, affluent, (Aspirational) and who feel or want to feel (and look) youthful
Feeling: leather and good scotch/wine in a contemporary, sophisticated sense, not in an old boys club sense. not stodgy/staid. Balance between the contemporary men at the bottom end of the range and the more established men at the upper end of the age range
mobi friendly or 2 versions – desktop or mobile.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
The logo will be used as the basis not only for printed letterhead/envelopes etc, but will also be used on the newsletter and website as the header (or part of it). We'd like to see something that is easily incorporated into a header that runs the entire width of the page.
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
Simple and strong image(s)
logo should be legible if faxed or copied
