Askaprice needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 133 designs submitted by 33 freelance designers.
After finalising the colours, layout and design of the re-vamp of MotorTorque (http://www.askaprice.com/torque/motortorque.jpg), we are now in need an attention-grabbing logo.

http://www.MotorTorque.com is an independent motoring news and reviews vertical portal, containing Web 2.0 features such as blogs, video, forums for car enthusiasts.

We are seeking a logo that conveys a sense of authority and independence, yet approachable and irreverent, without looking whimsical.
Designers should attempt to create a timeless logo, the winning design will be simple, and uncluttered. Designers are encouraged to keep the logo elements to a minimum, and to stay away from a overly-automotive theme, i.e. overuse of steering-wheels, cogs, wheels etc.
The logo should contain any, or all of the following colours:
Orange R: 256, G: 134, B: 11
Blue: R: 71, G: 143, B: 206
White
Restrictions:
Logo should have an aspect ratio of 2:1 (e.g 300x150)
