Who are you known as?
The World Walk
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I'm twenty-nine, male, and three years into a 25,000 mile walk around the world. When a friend died at seventeen I realized I needed to make the most of life. After four months of walking from Philadelphia to Texas, I adopted a puppy, Savannah, and she's been with me ever since. Together we've walked from Texas to Panama City, Bogotá to Montevideo, and from Copenhagen to Morocco. We have three more years of walking. I take photos and write stories. I like things clean and uncluttered. This walk is an adventure, an immersion in the places less-travelled, a meditation on how to live a good life. My audience is an equal balance of men and women roughly 24-33.

This logo will mostly be used for merchandise (hats, mugs, shirts). I'm on this adventure because a friend of mine died when I was seventeen and I realized I needed to make the most of life. I settled on walking the world because walking is the most immersive way to see the world. I take photos of landscapes and people, I write about my adventures, but I think something to lean into for the logo is the connection between myself and Savannah. Man and his dog walking around the world. Since I'm walking long term I don't carry a backpack, but push a Thule baby carriage with my things in it.
