andrew U got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Institute that teaches about dying from Tibetan Buddhist tradition
Check out andrew U's Logo design contest…
The "Preparing To Die Institute" provides a complete series of teachings and practices related to preparing to die from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective. It is taught by Andrew Holecek, a long-time student and teacher of Buddhism. He presents this tradition from a contemporary perspective – blending the ancient wisdom of the East with modern knowledge from the West. The target audience for this program is people who have been students and practitioners of Buddhism for some time and want a very integrated and complete cycle of teachings on death and dying, which is a subject that has a rich tradition in Tibetan Buddhism.

And then… they selected a winner!
The design is a simple, minimalist logo for a hotdog restaurant. I love that the designer knew exactly what I was looking for, based off some sample ideas. They were able to create something unique, and took every opportunity to make it better! After a handful of small revisions, we ended up with a perfect logo. Very creative, responds quickly and the communication was excellent. Every request/change I needed was done exactly how I wanted! Designers skills and creativity were exactly what I needed to bring my vision to life.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
