How Pkriner started their logo design journey
New Dawn Photography
I am a wildlife, landscape, and nature photographer. I am looking to market my images mostly in the area of fine art photography but some to be used as stock photography as well. I will use the logo on stationary, business cards as well as on my web site and blog. I am passionate about photography and have embraced any and all new technology which impacts my craft. New Dawn is an idea for a name that I came up with. Most of my fellow photogs just use their name. Patrick Kriner Photography is not as memorable or as easily remembered. Hence "New Dawn Photography." In my travels I have seen many new dawn opportunities and I think it fits with my passion for capturing the magic light that is the new dawn of a new day.
I also do a little web designing and would be interested in this service for future clients as well.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience would be stock agencies or individuals who would purchase my prints for interior decorating, design, marketing brochures, calendars, corporate reports, etc. Landscapes are great for home interiors and can be printed in many forms these days. From canvass prints to metal wall murals. With digital photography, the sky is the limit. I am also finding that people like certain motifs when decorating and my Africa images and wolves seem to do well in these areas.
I am looking for a simple design that will work for many types of media. Stationary, business cards, Signage as well as Web page design and blogging. Since i do wildlife as well as landscape and nature, it must be generic enough to convey these concepts in one logo design. I am flexible on the design and leave it up to your creativity to challenge yourselves to design something with punch that stands out and can be as memorable as a new dawn itself.
