Beautiful and imaginative design, with incredibly fast response times throughout the process. Loved it!
How JanJonckheere started their logo design journey
Pal Robotics is a young an dynamic company, consisting mostly of engineers, that originally was created as a Reserach&Development company. After building a couple of humanoid biped robots (one of which is known to be the best in Europe), we started thinking about commercializing them.
Therefore we need to change the corporate image, and the changing the logotype is part of this.
Have a look at our website http://www.pal-robotics.com to see where we started and up to where we got up to today.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
There does not yet exist a market for humanoid robots, except for R&D purposes. But there are some potential markets, in which the interest has to be created or shaken up.
Our mission is to provide robotic products and services for those markets, which can become an integral part of our daily life. Our service and humanoid robots are designed for the people and to serve the people, therefore the company wants to provide reliable solutions that really improve the daily work of our clients and their quality of life.
Potential markets are Luxury hotels, trade shows and events, entertainment and attraction parks, holiday resorts, musea (as guide), healthcare, elder care and possible semi-industrial applications.
We are looking for a three colours logotype, colours black (PMS Black C), white and Orange (PMS Orange 1505c). These colours cannot change.
The only continuation that we look for with the old logo (on the left top corner of the enclosed briefing) are the two moons, one of which is smaller than the other one and with the orientation inverted (see attachment).
The logo should consist of the words Pal Robotics and some icon, in which the two moons have to be enclosed.
As we are a high tech company, we look for an innovative, creative, high tech design with some flavour of exclusivity. It should be appealing, different, make people say "wow". It should translate to both general public and our B2B customers that we are a young, dynamic and ambitious company.
