RegularOldJoe got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Humanitarian Org.

I need a simple and recognizable logo designed for a new humanitarian organization called: International Registry of Humanitarian Organizations. I am envisioning something with the "green cross" symbol and a globe.
International Registry of Humanitarian Organizations
What's your vision?
The best design would be very simple and recognizable. The green cross is widely recognized as humanitarian so i would like to include it. The is not the "Christian" cross but rather a green version of the "red cross" symbol. I would also like to include something that denotes a global presence. This will be a registry where humanitarian organizations from around the world can utilize this data base to identify other organizations that would benefit their cause or could utilize their services. The idea is to make global humanitarian efforts much more efficient.
- green cross - globe like symbol - the name of the organization - Note: i am not a designer and am open for suggestions other than the above.
