PLEASE NOTE: We have indicated on the brief we are called Gathered Events .... However we may want to be known as just 'Gathered' so this is the main emphasis of the logo, the secondary part of the logo is the word ‘events’. We would like to see both options of Logo with and without the word “Events” - We are thinking with the strap line doubling up the word could be over kill. Elevator pitch We are an events company who predominantly cater for the world of corporate events but there’s nothing corporate about us. We are young and energetic. Bold even. Event storytellers that bring events to life. We will add value to events and take the pain out of the biggest or smallest projects for you. Description of the organisation We are a new company but already have a reputation of delivering through our existing events schedule (Under an umbrella companies name). There’s a lot of competition in the events industry and we need to stand out. But for the right reasons though. Nothing cheesy allowed :) We are focussed on the overall events industry and less on the catering, wedding planning and childrens events arenas so these do not require to be emphasised. We organise awards dinners, sales conference, speaking events, networking groups. drinks reception. christmas parties .. that sort of thing. In top end, funky venues.. Currently mostly London based venues at the moment, with a view to moving across the UK. Target audience To begin with our market is mainly creative digital agencies, then we will branch out to more mainstream companies.

Logo brief/notes We are working with a lot of digital agencies who are creative and concept driven. So the logo NEEDS to be original. They don’t want their event providers to have a logo that’s gimmicky or cliched. Something they wouldn’t have come up with themselves :) We are looking for a high-end feel, but cool and funky like the company name suggests. The brief is open to designers interpretation and we would encourage creativity. However it is important to to explain the thought process behind your designs please as we want a brand identity with a story. Otherwise what’s the point :) What we like Clean and crisp design with clean space around it. No dark backgrounds that would make it boxy or clunky when being used across print, digital media, signage and merchandise please. What we don’t like NO comic sans font or childish fonts please. Needs to work across all mediums so fonts that are easily accessed is preferred. No cheese please :0) Brand values passionate creative adding value through client relationships Storytellers that give events a warm fuzzy feeling inspired
