npgroup got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Game Website
Check out npgroup's Logo design contest…
We need a logo for a new site we are building. Rather than go to one designer, I want to get some concepts from many designers!
Breaking News Games
What's your vision?
Tagline: No tagline yet, but lets leave that option open, please. Desired Color Scheme: Not yet. We will design the site based on the logo chosen. Desired Style: We're open to anything. The site will be bloggy in parts, Digg-like in parts... Wall Street Journal, Drudge Report, something like that may work. We really want to see creativity. Accepted File Formats: psd, jpg, and vector so we can use in flash/illustrator. Site will be a community and online game site which focuses on current events. We need a logo that is clean and professional. For now, the words will be "Breaking News Games". The successful designer may possibly be asked to design our entire layout! We want something that brings fun, community and news all together.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
npgroup collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
