Added comment on 11/12/07: Thank you to everyone for all the great entries...very hard to narrowÂ it down. After considering many options over the pastÂ few days let me provide some "updated" thoughts as a result of seeing the wide variety of logos submitted: I likeÂ the block/blocks to the left of the text, I have decided (for now) to go with a blue/grey or blue/silver or blue/white color scheme (at this point no longer interested in green/gold). I like a serif font for the word "Cornerstone". Also, please note that I have changed the company name to "CornerstoneÂ Fundraising Solutions". This shouldn't be too much of a big deal as you can replace "Consulting Group" with "Fundraising Solutions".Â Since "fundraising" is now in the companyÂ name, I no longer need the tag line. From this point forward I will just rank the entries and will attempt to keep the top 5 to 8 and provide comments for those; others that are not in the top 5-8 will just be removed. AddedÂ comment on 11/09/07: Sorry for any confusion.Â The logo should be about "Cornerstone Consulting Group", "CCG", or something thatÂ conveys the word "cornerstone"Â (see description below).Â There probably shouldn't be anything in the logo that refers to "maxfundraising" (the name of the web site).Â Again, sorry if that wasn't clear in the original post.Â
Cornerstone Consulting Group (CCG) is a new startup company specializing in providing fundraising consulting services to non-profit organizations. Specifically, we provide a "turn key" program and consulting geared towards pledge-driven fundraising events (by "pledge-driven" I mean that the fundraisers send out a pledge brochure and ask their family, friends, and neighbors for a donation.) Our target market is primarily private Christian schools, churches, and ministries, although conceivably weÂ could work with many other types of non-profits. With respect to the "type" of event that a non-profit would use to raise funds, there are many options: golf-a-thon, your basic walk-a-thon, serve-a-thon (where participants also participate in "service projects").Â The first word in the company name, "Cornerstone", has a biblical overtone. Our tag line, "Building Foundations for Fundraising Success", ties into this idea in that the "cornerstone" is part of the foundation. The idea that we are "building a foundation" has the connotation that this is not a 1x fundraising event, but rather a "foundation" on which the non-profit will build all of their other fundraising efforts. Note: the tag line does not necessarily have to be in the logo. Need file formats that can be used for business cards, letterhead, web site.
