nobodyiscertain got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Financial Toolbelt
Check out nobodyiscertain's Logo design contest…
Hi! We're starting a financial information website called financialtoolbelt.com and need a logo for it. Hey guys, just wanted to make a note here. Please no more charts/graphs. The ones with charts that aren't eliminated are the ones with charts i like. I can't stress enough that we want to see a toolbelt with some tools in it. Either in a loop or with the straps just strewn about. Please do a google image search for "toolbelt." Something like that. Just updated the description, so please see revisions.
What's your vision?
We're starting a financial information website called financialtoolbelt.com and need a logo for it. It's a website aimed at giving the consumer the "tools" needed to become a smart financial player as far as investments, spending, retirement, the whole lot. A place people can go to educate themselves on everything financial. We're leaving the canvas open here for the most part and are excited to see what you guys come up with. Want it to be clean, cool and hip while still maintaining a professional look. Maybe a play on words? Some tools incorporated in it? Maybe the words above a toolbelt with tools? toolbelt woven through the words? A literal toolbelt? An abstract one? Icon based? Play on words? Take these ideas or leave 'em. You guys are the creative ones. We'll be keeping a close eye on this contest with frequent feedback.
- Thinking greens/blues for the base color scheme, and one bright color (red/orange/yellow) for an accent possibly. Again, can be convinced of anything if it looks good. - Probably some sort of reference to tools or a toolbelt, or something more clever if you got it. Or a toolbelt with tools in it maybe? - Needs to be vector. No pictures please.
- Don't know yet. Will refine once we start seeing them come in.
