The Brief
About us
This is an oath that an Expatriate who has left his/her county takes as a promise to contribute back to the society of that country in a meaningful way (i.e. not just by sending money, but rather by setting up schools, businesses, hospitals, etc.). This is like a Facebook "cause". The idea is for similarly minded people to identify each other through an insignia on their business cards, or websites, or email signatures. Ultimately expatsoath.org will have a forum for people to share their stories, network, and in the future, hold Expat conferences to promote the importance of giving back to one's community of origin.
