The designs by Dayou were fantastic. She totally got my concept, followed my direction perfectly, and delivered exactly what I wanted, only better!
99design is such a fantastic concept, as creatives we have our 'alpha' idea of what something is or could be, and then instead of one designer contributing to the process, you get many (in my case over 100) designers contributing their creative interpretation. The result is a very economical exploration of crowd sourced creative contribution.

we are an experienced chair massage provider now bidding on an airport contract with a new brand name, effleurage.
We will be an in-terminal chair massage concept operating at the new LAX International terminal. We are currently in the bid phase, so this logo will be an integral part of our proposal. Design concepts should include the relaxed elegance of 'effleurage' placed in the modern airport environment. Our target demographic is the traveler who wants the benefits of a relaxing massage - just before boarding a long international flight. We are designing a very clean aesthetic look with etched glass walls and shallow natural wood grain cabinets offset by flowing sound absorbing white wall elements that subtly remind one of the sea. Our work space is very limited; approximately 7'6" by 22', so our logo will be etched into the glass wall as well as on signage.
effleurage is a massage term that refers to strokes toward the heart with the flat part of the hand and fingers. They can be light or deep strokes and assist in lymphatic drainage and help stimulate circulation. OK, its also French for 'to skim' or 'to touch lightly on'.
