McCloud 9
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Based at the foothills of stunning Mt. Shasta, in the tiny mountain town of McCloud, California... McCloud 9 is setting up basecamp and partnering with local, regional, and national partners to develop the historic McCloud Mill site into a thriving hub of regenerative agriculture and green business. Through combing aquaculture (fish farming) with hydroponics (farming without soil), renewable energy, and sustainable design, McCloud 9 is pioneering new systems to produce fish, food, fiber, medicinal herbs, soil, and other products in a way that is financially thriving, ecologically regenerative, and socially responsible.

The choice of the name for our company, "McCloud 9" comes from combining the name of the beautiful town of our facility - McCloud, California, with the expression "Cloud 9", which means "A state of elation or great happiness".
