Our preliminary mission is:
Dinnerbundle brings a healthy food culture to people’s homes by combining Fresh and Healthy food and Easy and Inspirational recipes.
Current website (to be rebuilt and redesigned):
We want a new fresh design for our logotype.
We’ve chosen the name Dinnerbundle as we deliver dinners in a “bundle” – 4 meals in one delivery to cover 4 weeknight dinners. We also like the association to “bundle of joy”, as we’re delivering a positive experience, connected to less stress and more happiness– not only the actual food.
If possible, brainstorm around the initials “db” as it looks possible to make it look like a bundle of food wrapped together – for instance carrots or kale and leeks tied together?
Core values: The menus/food we deliver should be inspirational, and healthy and the service builds on convenience.
Other words I’m thinking of is love and heart (– maybe green heart?), personal, family, smart, modern, global (food), peace of mind, no stress … We’re of course also striving to be environmentally friendly!
Competition: There’s heavy competition in the food industry in the Bay Area, and recently this one emerged: http://www.blueapron.com. There are a couple of more on the east coast. We are striving to be more personal, family-oriented and “neighborhoody” than these corporations.
I like the simplicity of Scandinavian design (I’m from Sweden).
One thought, don't know if you want to explore this but I like the sketchy style of the logotype that http://www.cooksf.com has. Not so much the logo in itself but the sketch. (Later I will add icons that are sketched, that’s why I mention this.)
