Target audience are high flying, brilliant, innovative professionals working within the major international oil companies, males in their 30s and 40s, highly educated (postgraduates), ambitious, driven, work hard / play hard types.
The world is facing an unprecedented crisis as oil and many natural resources reach peak output. This peak in production is likely to be an undulating plateau rather than an outright peak for most natural resources. As scarcity increases the search for resources will intensify and novel new production methods will be stimulated along with efficiencies, switching, recycling, conservation, and eventually efficient and effective new technologies that use less and less.
Transition Resources believes that the world will transition from the age of wasteful consumption, through an era of acute supply difficulties and crisis, to an age of respectful management of resources. The business model of Transition Resources is designed to evolve with these changing circumstances, and to play a vital role in facilitating the transition.
Transition Resources believes in the future and is highly optimistic. The logo should present as optimistic, dynamic, confident, innovative, and full of energy, perhaps incorporating the sun, and also symbolising the vision, brilliance and creativity of our employees, associates and partners. We would like a clean, sharp, professional logo that clearly reflects our values and vision.
The font should be caps, or if not, then sans serif in lower case.
The image of the sun is appealing, but the image of flames and fire is too intense, and not a good image for an oil company.
Colours should be primary, but not so bright to be blinding. Again, the logo / font of Shell oil company is a good example.
The icon should convey movement, future growth, innovation, and power.
Colors should be red and blue, or red and yellow. Orange is also a possibility. Font can also be black.
