dhomaij1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo Design for Trendy Plant-Based Burger Pop-up
Check out dhomaij1's Logo design contest…
Food & Drink
I am launching an all plant-based burger pop-up. This burger looks and tastes identical to a normal cheeseburger (even better than most). I don't want to make it too obvious that the burger is vegan in order to appeal to non-vegans. I think that my target audience will be people from ages 18-40 and mostly vegan, but also people who just enjoy a good cheeseburger. I am eventually expanding to a brick and mortar business, but for now, it will just be a pop-up.
I like more of a minimalist/simple design that gets the point across. I want it to look very professional. UNiQ should be written in all caps with the "i" being lowercase (UNiQ). Burger can be either: in all caps, the first letter capital, or all in lowercase. I liked the idea of having UNiQ written out and then BURGER written underneath it in smaller font, stretched out to the same length (this is just an idea), but I don't know if maybe an outline of a burger accompanying it could make it look more appetizing? I usually like very neutral colors, but I am open to other colors. I also like the letter Q written with the line sticking horizontally out of the bottom (if you type a capital Q on snapchat, you'll know what I mean) <- again that's just an idea; I'm not set on that. I would also be really curious to see if you guys can design something completely different from what I asked because I am open to new ideas. This logo is for the storefront, the burger wrappers, cups, banners, menus, stickers, etc. Again, I am very open to new ideas. Sorry for rambling, I just wanted to express all my thoughts. I’m mostly interested in combination, wordmark, pictorial, abstract and emblem logos, but I’m open to all ideas.

And then… they selected a winner!
I could not be any happier with the results. Dotco was so responsive and made whatever changes I needed so promptly. His design is exactly what I asked for. He really went above and beyond. Would give more stars if I could!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
