Who are you known as?
Sleeping Giant Brewing Company
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a brewery that not only produces our brand, but produces (via contract) the actual beer for other company's brands as well. Therefore, we desire a logo that not only appeals to a traditional individual customer, but also to other companies as a larger entity.
We have a work hard play hard ethos and embrace the outdoors. This theme could certainly be used in the logo but my only concern is how 'trendy' the usage of outdoor pursuits has become for breweries. We are looking for something 'styley' that is distinct and not just another brewery logo. This concept is paramount; to have a bold, catching logo that inspires confidence and respect with a broad appeal...but also to stand out from the crowded brewery landscape.
ps- (in the selection of logo 'types' I would also include "character" but was afraid of getting a bunch of submissions of giants drinking beer haha. this is an option, but would need to be classy. thanks! pps- if you google us, we are NOT the brewery with the same name in Canada, FYI.

Many thanks for your time and efforts in working on this! The name Sleeping Giant was inspired by a mountain in Steamboat, Colorado a few hours away from our headquarters here in Denver. It is a single mountain raising out of the valley that looks like a giant sleeping on his/her back. If you look at the photos you'll see the form of a human with head on the left, chest, knees and finally feet on the right.
This image or reference does not need to be in the logo (though I'd like to see it in some), however I just wanted to provide some context for the name.
Can't wait to see what you all create and thanks again.
