Brett Pojunis got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New Logo Design for the Libertarian Party of Nevada, 3rd Largest Political Party
Check out Brett Pojunis's Logo design contest…
The Libertarian Party is 3rd largest and the fastest growing political party in the United States. Millions of Americans voted for Libertarian Party candidates in past elections because the Libertarian Party offers a viable alternative to the broken 2 party system in America. Libertarians believe the answer to America's political problems is the same commitment to freedom that earned America its greatness: *A free-market economy and the abundance and prosperity it brings; *A dedication to personal freedom and civil liberties that marks this country above all others; *A foreign policy of free trade, non-intervention, and peace as intended by America's founders. Our mission is to defend the freedom and increase the liberty of all Nevadans. We will do this by recruiting Libertarian candidates for public office, educating the public about our principles, growing the membership, and winning elections. Many Americans share the ideas and principles of the Libertarian Party; however, they are not familiar with either the Libertarian Party or libertarianism in general. Our goal is to communicate with these individuals and let them know we exist as well as provide a clear understanding of our positions on issues important to America TARGETING: 1. Registered Libertarian Voter, but not Party members 2. Libertarian leaning Organizations 3. Non-Political Party Members 4. Independents 5. Supporters of Gary Johnson 6. Supporters of Ron Paul 7. Members and supporters of the Liberty Movement 8. Issue specific potential members 9. Non-registered voters 10. Disenfranchised Republicans and Democrats 11. People who distrust of Government and big institutions 12. Under 30 demographic who are mostly with us on issues .
Logo types to explore
The Libertarian Party of Nevada would like to create a new logo which will help us with our marketing. Here are the main goals: 1. Design a new logo that will be professional and assist us with attracting the youth 2. The design should be simple 3. The logo should look great printed as well as work as a lapel pin 4. I am open to any color(s) suggested 5. It is important to read about our issues to understand what we are all about: http://lpnevada.org/issues/nevada 6. Please review this image as it is the core of our new branding: http://lpnevada.org/files/libertarian-party-of-nevada-common-sense-on-issues.jpg 7. There should be 2 logos, 1 mark and 1 which is text only. The mark should be easily recognizable. The text logo should be a cool stylized font for the name as a stand alone. 8. We do not have a slogan at this time although we would like to adopt one. Here is some additional input: *I have never been a fan of blue and yellow *We recently started using purple (blue -democrats and red - Republican combined). Some news stations identify other parties with purple when reporting on the elections. However, we are open to new colors *I would probably not use the statue of liberty as the rest of the party does (you cant trademark the statute of liberty) *We really need to design a logo which will stand out. *The goal would be to have professional branding similar to my other venture, www.politicalpartylv.com. *The logo does not need to look political, I believe a logo closer to a tech firm would be cool *We do like the Ron Paul Love Revolution Logo.
