Seeing Interactive, Inc.
Have you ever seen a really cool iphone application or website, but it only works in a big city like New York or San Fransciso? We're trying to bring those cool apps to small town across America through local newspapers.
In a nutshell, we make software that makes newspapers money. We're trying to save community newspapers by bringing them white-label hyper-local products to very small markets.
Newspapers are in a transition, and it's really cool to be able to help them successfully go to the web--and hopefully improve them communities that they serve in the process!
Newspapers, TV Stations, and Radio Stations.
Our service is transparent to the end user as it is sold directly to newspapers who then "own" the product in every small market; however, it is likely that your logo will appear on the bottom of 14 million+ websites!
We are looking for a logo to represent our interactive technology company: Seeing Interactive
You can make a logo with:
1. Just "Seeing Interactive"
2. "Seeing Interactive, Inc."
But at least one version has to include the full name "Seeing Interactive".
We would love a symbol that could also stand on its own (for example, the Nike swoosh), but we're open to anything.
Here are a few things to think about:
1. The typeface should readable.
2. Should have a symbol that represents interactive or at least looks cool.
3. Shouldn't have anything specifically to do with newspapers.
4. No stock images; no clip art.
5. This should be designed for web first.
6. Has be ABLE to be small yet recognizable.
Please feel free to experiment with colors! We will actually use these colors as a base for our website redesign: http://seeinginteractive.com which we will be posting after the logo is done.
I can't say for sure what we want, like Ellington said, "if it sounds good, it is good." But I will be VERY quick to give feedback.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - layered .psd (RGB)
