Karl Palachuk needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 27 designs submitted by 15 freelance designers.
We have an old logo that looks rather clip-arty and we want something much more modern.
Our new site is going to be around a concept called ZDTM.
We're looking for a refresh of the logo along with the letters ZDTM.

You can see the old logo at http://www.greatlittlebook.com/Products/ZDTM/ (up on the right, the computer dude).
We are not wedded to the old computer dude in any detailed way, although the "face" part has become well known to our clients. We do want something that's at least inspired by this logo.
We also need a very clean web 2.0-looking presentation of the letters ZDTM. Should be clear and easy to read.
We'll be building a web site with this new two-part logo: the comptuer person and the ZDTM letters.
About ZDTM:
The concept of ZDTM has to do with Zero Downtime Migrations. That is, moving a company to an entirely new computer system with Zero Downtime. Our audience consists of computer consultants who want to learn the skills necessary to accomplish this task.
Have fun. Thank you for taking the time.
Note: the name "Great Little Book" does not need to be any part of this.
- Computer Person "inspired" by the old logo
- ZDTM Logo
- These two should work well together, but be able to be separated and still look good
- Clean, sharp-looking
- Primary Color for ZDTM: Blue.
- Complicated or confusing
