We are a stock trading educational community that is rebranding to "Buy the Bulls Trading" or "By the Bulls" / "BTB" for short.

I'm a community admin for this educational community. We worked up some guidance with our founder, Evan, that I've added in the numbered list below. A rebrand idea that was rejected because of trademark issues was "The Tattooed Trader" so a tattoo-style logo might be great, but we are open to all concepts! Our founder is a real character. He is pierced and tattooed and has a big heart. He stands out from other educators in this space for this reason. We have to balance "serious" (because this is people's money) with quirky and fun. The founder, Evan, and the 7 community admins will ultimately pick the winner together! Ultimately Evan has the final say, though! I've had great results with 99 Designs in the past! Let's see what we can do! Here is some guidance we put together with our founder, Evan: 1) With the company being 'BY THE BULLS' / 'BTB', we do like the idea of a bull in it; but that is somewhat generic, so it isn't a strict requirement. However, we do not have any real insane ideas and would love to see some creativity in the designs. 2) We are an educational-based financial literacy community focused on the stock market. We are not financial advisors. So, we do like to emphasize: education. We teach others the basics of investing, charting, how stocks work, etc. 3) Here is Evan’s (our founder’s) YouTube channel for visual reference: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNmL8fx_m0vbxyJc-XKnFbA … If the link does not work just search 'Evan Trades' on YouTube. 4) We are a strong community, and we just teach how we operate in and trade stocks! People join the community because we are friendly and focused on everyone’s individual success. Members say that it is a quirky, fun, approachable, friendly, and highly educational community. 5) We are off-the-beaten-path of the usual people in our field (where everyone typically wears suits, and talks like they have a PhD). Evan is a normal guy. He has tattoos and piercings. He talks like anyone else. He teaches economics at a high school. We were born out of helping people through COVID. We are just the 'normal man' of the group of people who do this type of business. Evan’s personality is energetic, fun, and goofy; but he is not un-serious. That is a key difference. He is not some idiot who is like ridiculously wacky - he creates a warm and welcoming vibe. 6) Our typical demographic (so far) is 25 - 50 year old white males with some disposable income to invest. Our audience is 97% that, but we do have many outliers with plenty of subscribers and followers who are older, younger (even in high school), women, etc. We focus on attracting people with disposable income who are motivated to learn trading and investing and are friendly and interactive in the community. But for demographics - mostly 25 - 55 year old's with some money to invest/trade and some disposable income. 7) The founder, Evan, and the 7 community admins will ultimately select the logo, but Evan has the final say. He likes strong colors, reds, blues, greens. We deal with the stock market so draw inspiration there. But Even says he likes POWERFUL and CLEAN colors. His statement: “I like all colors - but they need to be BOLD. I like more modern feel, but I am fine with whatever. I feel like reds work well, or strong blues? I’m open to whatever creativity is inspired though.” He also says, “I like modern, clean, and BOLD. I like some form of professionalism drawn from powerful colors.” 8) We are quirky and fun as a community, but our brand identify and logo cannot be goofy. Evan says, “I do not want some Comic Sans lol. Bold, clean lines, easy to read. Something that is recognizable and modern. … the logo should be Strong, Bold, Modern - but inviting. I again want to have the ability to show folks we are a corner stone of this industry, but we are not unobtainable.” Evan: “Although we are serious, there can be hints of funny ... again our name is a play on the saying 'by the balls' - that is fine. But we are not some goofy business, we work with people who want to know we too are serious.” 9) Overall: “We are talented educators, we are here to help, and we are a here to help. Welcoming to beginners and folks who want to ask questions and need help; but we are also professional.” 10) The logo could, but is not required to, incorporate "BTB" as shorthand for "By the Bulls".

Mesin Tempur exactly understood our brief from the start and impressed us with his very first and extremely creative proposal, which did not leave our thoughts until the end of the competition!
