Logo design for blinds company

We aim to revolutionise the blind manufacturing industry by introducing cutting edge production technologies. As such, we want a logo that reflects our corporate values of innovation, premium quality, technical ability, and efficiency (speed).

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.

Attached pdf is our existing logo designed by an agency. We are not entirely satisfied with it, as, while it looks fine on its own, it can be out of place when we put it on certain products.

The attached photo is an example of a component we would want to place to logo on. The one in the picture is made by a different company, but it's just to show what needs to be considered when thinking of the logo design.

We prefer the logo to be modern, flat, and based on simple shapes. Special emphasis must be placed on the typography, which should be timeless. A symbol is optional, but if one is made it should be independent of the text, i.e. not enclosing the text like the existing design, nor any parts of it extending to or from the text. The reason for this is sometimes we need to place the logo on rather small parts in which case a simple shape is the best.
