I am redoing my contest because last time I didnt communicate it well enough, and the language barrier provided additional challenges.
Please read everything to get a good understanding of what I'm trying to do.
Irreverent Warriors is a community of combat veterans who use dark humor and entertainment as a means to cope with all the things we've done and seen, and to let nostalgia bring us together. When combat vets get together, it's very theraputic, and when we laugh together, it's even more theraputic.
The definition of irreverent- an inability to take serious things seriously.
This is the way warriors have always fought wars- with sick and twisted jokes in between battles.
I would like something easily identifiable, and I think that a silhuouette might work. Look at the logo for Wounded Warrior Project. Its very simple, and with just one look you can tell that one soldier is carrying another who was wounded in battle.
I would like something similar, but with different context.
Perhaps an American soldier on patrol, walking past an enemy who is hiding in a ditch and preparing to attack the American. The American is carelessly throwing a grenade behind him at the enemy, with a big smile on his his face, as if he loves knowing that he's going to kill the dumb enemy.
I like the same font as the WWP logo, although I'm open to other ideas. I would also like the "I"s to be in the shape of bullets.
I look forward to your submissions! THank you all!
