Games & Recreational
The Crazy Race is a fast-paced party experience for ages 8 to adult. Teams try to score points by competing in wide variety of physical and mental challenges. A typical party will contain approximately 12-16 mini-games requiring different skills such as dexterity, teamwork, memory, problem-solving and focus under pressure. The experience is like a scaled-down version of reality TV shows such as The Amazing Race, Survivor and Minute to Win It intermixed with TV game show elements and classic family game elements. I'm looking for a logo design that captures the spirit, energy and fun of The Crazy Race. Greetings and thanks everyone for your initial ideas. Based on the direction I see this going so far, here are a few things I'd like to see tried: -Should be colorful but maybe not a whole rainbow of colors. Maybe 2-3 colors max. I don't yet have a feel for the exact colors we want. Let's see what you think. -Would like a bolder design than most of what I've seen so far. -Let's put more emphasis on the word CRAZY. Perhaps it's a larger size or a different font. Or perhaps the individual letters are askew in some way. -I am liking the "checkered flag" element I see in one of the designs. That could be something to build on. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Follow up: -Would like to see some swooshes or other elements that imply motion and speed. Need to capture the fast-paced nature of the race. -Teams race against each other but also against the clock, so you might want to play around with including a "time" element, such as part of a stopwatch, hourglass, etc. Thanks! Question: How will this logo be used? Answer: In addition to the regular print and digital uses, we want to be able to put it on tee-shirts, hats, bandanas and other colorful merchandise. So please consider how to do the bordering around the overall image. I'm guessing it should be white so as to stand out nicely when applied on top of items of many various colors. Hi everyone, I appreciate your efforts so far. I just came up with the idea that I'd like to try a spiral design as the background behind the text. I mocked up a few primitive images and posted them in my brief, but I'm sure you can do much better. The spiral should be a little more fun looking and since it's a circle shape maybe it could also have a few clock-like or stopwatch-like elements hidden inside of it. I want to go with a simpler, bolder font as you can see in my examples, and please build on the way I have jumbled the letters CRAZY. Still not 100% on colors but let's see what you come up with. Thanks, have a good day! Here's a fun twist for anybody who is up to the challenge: Part of THE CRAZY RACE is solving mental challenges and puzzles. We are interested in trying to embed a secret code within the logo in the form of Morse Code. I have attached a Morse Guide translation and formatting key in the brief. The secret word spelled out in Morse Code should be ACTION PARTY. We think the dots and dashes of Morse Code could be an interesting design element and we love that one of our new challenges could be to decipher the code hidden within our very logo. Have fun and be creative with this! Message me if you have any questions.
Please keep checking the public messages where I will post clarifications and guidance throughout the design process.
