Craft beer bar
Logo types to explore
What I am looking for is the bugs bunny crazy Dr. Jekyl look, I want a evil looking green bunny orientation of face, straight forwards, and then maybe two clenched hands up clenching rigid stalks of hops vines. (see bald eagle graphic as a reference) The Pun: This is for a bar, if you think of American craft beer, you think of the hops flower a main ingredient, that goes into beer. But by using the bunny as the logo, we are making a pun that the hops we are referring to is the jumping kind. Orientation and specific items: The rabbit needs to be looking straight forward, the logo should be somewhat symmetrical. Look at the rabbit logo with the red ring surrounding it for an example. This is the orientation and position of the rabbit I am looking for. Do not put a graphic of a beer in the logo. One or both of the ears should be folded down, reference the cigar rabbit logo, or the red circle rabbit. Notice the ears. The rabbit should be have two hands grasping similar stalks of hops multiple hops, also fairly symmetrical. Look at the bald eagle logo, the claws are symmetrical. The outer or tops of the hands should be facing forward, palms facing back, and with multiple hops stalks in each hand, with the stalks pointing outwards at about a 35 - 55 degree angle. Market concept to convey: Remember that craft beer symbolizes, hand crafted, independent small batches, quality ingredients, and usually an artisan sense to it. But often some brands have an edge to them, good ones to compare are Stone Brewery and 3 Floyds, they are dark, but not horror scary. It also symbolizes creativity and fun.............it is beer we are talking about. Expression: The rabbit with the cigar is the closest example of the expression we are going for, but that one really only expresses angry. Looking for some anger, but frustrated, crazy, party, sickened, or maybe just halfway drunk will work as well. Not looking for vampire I want to suck your blood scary. The rabbit logo with the red ring is too scary looking. I do not think red is not going to be a good color, and I would advise not using it. The rabbit face should be a plump to possibly even fat looking, not a skinny face. Style: The springfest logo is the closest one in respects to the style of cartoon we are looking for. It should look like it was designed on a computer not hand drawn, like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I would say that the Stone Brewery logos at the bottom are very close in respects to sinister and edgy, but we are looking for a bit less detailed and a bit more cartoony than Stone's graphics. I have uploaded a bunch of style logos, just to give you a feel for the style we are looking for, all labeled style.
