Simon Earnshaw got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for a company name called "Synagis"
Check out Simon Earnshaw's Logo design contest…
Create a logo AND appropriate font lettering for a company called "Synagis". This will be used on all business stationary, websites business cards etc. Can be with or without Ltd on the end of company name.
What's your vision?
I run my own company so I want a logo to make it look professional. The logo and font for the company name should generally be modern, contempory in look and feel reflecting something about software design, consulting, with a focus on geographical solutions i.e. GIS (Geographical Information Systems), check out www.esri.com for an example of a company like this. So think maps, geometry, points, lines, polygons, raster images, GPS, planet earth, mountains, rivers, forests, wildlife all being managed by software and thats the basic elements. Its all cutting edge stuff! Company is based in the UK - I design software solutions for Blue Chip companies, and government organisations - I am all about GIS type solutions.
Modern and contempary feel.- Simple, clean and elegant - Isometric 3D view of stacks/layers of maps - subtle as an idea but doesnt have to be this.
- Must not be all capital letters if possible - Should look appropriate for traditional stationary as well as a website. - Maps of the world - particulary globes. Too obvious.
