"Scribe" is the rebrand of our current company, "Book In A Box."
Book In A Box will stay as it is, but we are adding several new divisions and need to rebrand the umbrella company for all of them. Our other companies are:

This WILL NOT be a customer facing brand--those are the above.
But it is VERY important because it will be our identity to the media and business world, and most important, our identity for recruiting--it'll be the way we find and recruit more awesome freelancers to work with us (people like you).
We picked this name because a "scribe" is a perfect way to encapsulate and describe what we do as a company.
A scribe is someone who faithfully records the words and ideas of the creator. It is someone who serves the needs of the creator. It is someone who facilitates other peoples creation. It is, quite frankly, a brand name that intentionally puts the client first.
Scribe is a service brand--because we are a service company. We serve both our clients and we serve the wisdom we are trying to unlock. The metaphor here is that if our client is Socrates, we are Plato. If our client is Jesus, we are the apostles.
We serve our clients in their attempt to get their ideas out of their head, and into the world, so other people can benefit from them, we don't come up with ideas for them.
