UPDATE: If you do not read this brief in its entirety, your design will NOT be considered. We have had too many submissions that missed the main topic. The logo MUST include some design element that links it to the DIY community somehow — a wrench, a drill, pegboard, screwdrivers, electronic components, something along those. If your submission does not have this element, it will not be considered. Maker Mafia is a community website/blog/magazine/podcast. It is all about showcasing bad-ass DIY projects being done by grass-roots type teams in the Electronics, 3D Printing, Coding community. People that are making actual useful projects come to life. Please try to embody some kind of DIY-ness to the design. Electronics components, tools, pegboard, something like that. It needs to have the DIY/Maker theme tied into the logo.
