We are the first online educational portal devoted to artisanal and gourmet cheese. We deliver top-notch interactive tasting events to which deepen appreciation for and understanding of fine cheese.
Our ninety minute classes are a multi-sensory educational experience with artful photography, information packed slides and video vignettes which explore the people, places and process behind the production of the world's finest cheeses. Whenever possible, a cheesemaker dials in to answer questions and share their story.
Participants source cheese and recommended pairings from their local, independent cheese shop and dial in live and taste along. Pre-recorded classes are always available and make up the curriculum of Cheese University.
The target audience is cheese and specialty food savvy people who want to know more about this fascinating food. This includes craft beer and fine wine lovers, those who enjoy local and 'slow' foods and want to produce traditional, handmade, quality products.
The target demographic is educated and comfortable to affluent. It spans a range of ages - from the millennials through boomers - for whom quality and taste matter. They are tech-savvy and enjoy knowing more about where their food comes from and how it's made.
