Jeff-Net got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo for BuzzWhere.Com - Local, Text-Based Marketing
Check out Jeff-Net's Logo design contest…
Local, text-based marketing for businesses; customers will sign up via text (ie. text "Starbucks" to 555666); businesses will then text customers special, immediate deals (ie. Starbucks is offering 50% off coffee this Tuesday night)
Logo types to explore
We are open to lots of ideas; definitely want more young than old look; definitely want horizontal layout as opposed to stacking a lot vertically; we have not decided if we will use a bumble-bee in anything. If you have something cutting edge to do with a bee, throw it out there. We believe we are leaning more towards "vibrations" and "sounds" looks and effects on the logo. We are hoping for something unique though that we haven't thought of. Thanks!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

And then… they selected a winner!
Great experience with 99 Designs as well as g'twitz. The process was easy and g'twitz was quick to respond, make updates and complete the assignment. I would work with g'twitz again
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
