The firm requires a logo which it will use on its stationary, marketing materials and website.
The logo should be simple, modern and highly professional. The main challenge for designers will be to strike a balance between the modern elements of a new, tech savvy legal boutique and the traditional elements of a highly professional business/legal image.
Regarding colours, Murphy & Company would like to use a two colour design in the logo (possibly also including, in addition, white and/or black) which, from a colour perspective, would be complemetary to the attached photo of a wall mural from the lobby of the office tower in which the firm is located. Please note that this does not mean that the logo itself should be in a mural format. In particular, please note the aquamarine blue and tope/brown/dark grey shades of the mural. However, designers are also invited to use a complementary two colour design.
Designers are also invited to include the URL of the website in the logo (www.murphyandcompany.ca); however, this is not mandatory.
Designers are requested not to utilize any images of the “scales of justice”, gavels, law books or other legal clichés.
