Accepted File Formats:
Vector
DESIGN: I envision the logo integrating the well-known "Flatirons" mountain formations that are on the City logos but also transmitting a clear message that it's for an airport (i.e. including a plane, contrails, propellors, runway, etc). Using similar mountain designs is also fine.
The airport is a General Aviation airport and not a passenger airport. The most common planes that operate here are single propeller or twin propeller aircraft, with a few business jets and gliders. The airport does not have a control tower or radar, so please don't add those to the logo.
COLORS: The City of Boulder typically uses burgundy, light green, or light purple, but the logo doesn't have to have those colors. Since it's for aviation, I also envision the use of blues, silver, etc. I think 2-4 colors would be best on a white background or contained inside a horizontal light-colored rectangle.
PAYMENT TO WINNER: Credit card is best, but check or PayPal may be possible too.
