***Hello everyone! I have been thinking a lot about my design overnight and I came up with a new idea. I think fitting the lettering inside the moon might be too small. So, here are my new thoughts - the image will be of a sweet black bear sitting, surrounded by flowers (perhaps even smelling them?) with the full moon in the background. The moon doesn't need to be too detailed, just a circle with a small crescent on the side should be plenty. Then, the lettering could be underneath. I am attaching a couple of (very rough) sketches of my idea, with an image of a bear that I found that I like. Otherwise, the style should follow my explanation in the old brief below. Thank you so much for everyone who is helping make this dream a reality!!!
This is a basic sketch of my idea. I would like the logo to follow design of the lettering inside the moon with plants surrounding it. (Please note, the new name is Moon Bear Botanicals, not Medicinals).
The lettering should look elegant, but with sharp edges. I want it to be dominant, bold, yet somewhat whimsical/asymmetrical/with swirls on the edges. I have included several images of fonts I like. There are several different examples, but I hope you can sense the similarities between them.
The lettering for the word Botanicals, underneath, can be more defined font, not curvy, perhaps in all caps?
I would like the plants underneath to be in the style of old botanical drawings. Here is a link to an idea of the style I like:
Plants I would like included are: rosemary, cedar, buttercup, rose, lavender, and motherwort. I would like the plants to be in color, but the lettering in black.
This logo will appear on product labels as well as the website, so it will need to look good and legible both large and small. The lettering should be bold and dominant so it can be read from a distance.
I'm looking forward to what you come up with! Thanks!
