Logo for a boat named "Selkie"

This logo is for a boat.

I'm looking for a design to complement my new boat's name. The logo will be placed on each side of the boat. The logo must incorporate the boat's name which is “Selkie”.  The lettering needs to span most of the vertical height within the following total dimensions: 30 inches wide and 10 inches high. I'd like it to include some aspect of the Selkie theme into the logo design, preferably in the celtic/stylistic style as seen in the movie “Song of the Sea”. The logo should be optimized for vinyl sign printing including a white perimeter, with solid colors preferred to shading. The logo should come in a left- and right-handed version for placement on both sides of the boat. Update: 1) Selkie is celtic mythology: Seal in the water, girl/woman with seal coat on land. 2) Prefer curvy/flowing letters (not cletic letters) 3) Logo should be well viewable from a distance (not too much intricate detail).
