GnomeyNewt got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for new blog: BlueJar.com!
Check out GnomeyNewt's Logo design contest…
Thanks for taking the time to read about my contest. This is the second contest I have held here at SitePoint and I enjoyed doing the first one. The logo I need is for my new blog BlueJar.com and I am looking forward to viewing your creative ideas.
What's your vision?
Tagline: the webmasters guide to the galaxy (optional) Desired Color Scheme: Blue (#3DAAE3, #69C5F6, #D9F1FD), Dark Blue (#436183) and Orange (#FF7F24) Desired Style: Unique and Creative. See description. Accepted File Formats: vector preferred, but not required. .psd is okay too. I have a new blog named BlueJar.com and I need a logo for it! I am terrible with logos, so I need your guys and gals help to come up with something creative that can describe my blog through its logo. The blog is basically a webmaster resource blog - including tips, reviews, and other fun tidbits that I've come across through my adventure through the webmaster galaxy. The reason I am here to get a logo is, 1) I bought the theme from SitePoint, 2) Believe it or not, I bought the domain here too 3) I want to have the logo made here and have it full circle! Lets have fun and I know I will find a winner here. Description/Requirements for logo: The logo should contain the color blue (Blue (#3DAAE3, #69C5F6, #D9F1FD), Dark Blue (#436183) and Orange (#FF7F24)). The logo should contain the text 'BlueJar.com'. The logo may, but not required to contain the text 'the webmasters guide to the galaxy'. The logo should be easy on the eyes. The logo should stand out, I don't want it to blend in when it is with other logos. The logo has no theme, so you can make it about jars or any other creative idea you have. The logo may contain a science flask, similar to BlueJar.com current favicon. I just like that icon for some reason, but you will need to make a new flask as that is copyrighted. Things about me that will help you understand what I like: I love cute logos/icons/avatars. I love the color blue. I like funny logos. I like logos that have more than one meaning. I like logos that look really fresh and clean. If there is such thing.
