Mdraheim got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo for Bay Area Sleep Apnea Oral Appliance Center
Check out Mdraheim's Logo design contest…
PLEASE NO "+" IN THE DESIGN! :) It has been done too many times in medical. No Red colors either. not good for medical. :) We provide Snoring and Sleep Apnea Oral Appliances for patients with obstructive sleep apnea that are CPAP intolerant. Currently we work out of our dental office but will soon spin this business out. www.millbraedentalcare.com/sleep.html The appliance is made by a Dentist but it is a Medical Product/service
Logo types to explore
The FIRST sample (Sample Card.pdf) is one of our competitors. It looks nice. But we want ours to look nicer. :) But it gives you a feel anyway. Obviously we don't want our card to look anything like his but you get the idea of design. THe next three files are some ideas we have worked on ourselves. NOTE: The name is incorrect on these examples. Please follow the name submitted with this project description. 1. SleepApnea_Logo.pdf - We like #2 & #3as it has something to do with sleep. 2 SleepApnea_Logo_rev.pdf - We like #1 but it seems much too simple and not professional enough. 3. SleepApnea_Logo_Rev2.pdf - Various versions of the other ones. Again, too simple, not refined enough. Target Demographics: 30-60 year old Men with Sleep Apnea AND their wives who are tired of hearing them snore. We are in the Bay Area (San Francisco) so the mean income level is high, education levels are generally high, people are generally active and enjoy fine dining etc. We have a great deal of sun (six months out of the year or more) but we are also known for fog, the Golden Gate bridge, etc. We are about 10 miles south of San Francisco but we will target clients all over the bay. It is also important to note that while we will service patients we will market towards physicians: cardiologists, pulmonology, Sleep MDs, generals, etc. But we don't want our logo to look too medical. There are many "medical" looking logos out there. We don't want to be just another one with a Plus sign or a shield etc. Something unique, something that says we deal with sleep disorders but not too obvious. A tall order? Perhaps. But that's why we hired the pros! :) I check e-mail all the time or I'm happy to chat via skype/phone. Just let me know. I'm on California PST so please keep that in mind. Thank you all!
