Brand Name: Our logo has to inspire confidence in our professionalism, build our credibility, and give reassurance to clients about the quality of our work. It has to capture our brand of high-quality intellectual work. Key words for our brand include: solutions, value, trusted advisor. Providing solutions really captures the essence of what we do for our clients (solution is defined broadly, not in terms of technology). Solutions bring to mind solving puzzles. Potential ideas include making B&M fit together like a puzzle on white background or B being the two gears that lock together. Target Audience: Our clients are managers and executives in the federal and state governments, private companies, and non-profits domestically and internationally.
Requirements: The ideal logo will have our company name in dark clean fonts on white background (font logo) with a small but distinguishable symbol (iconic logo) that does not overpower the company name, but adds a touch of sophistication/completeness/thoughtfulness, such as Accenture's greater than sign (please see links above). The logo and the company name should be on the same level, e.g., horizontal. Additional requirements include:
No drop shadows
No 3D effects
No stock images
No proprietary fonts
At most 2 to 3 colors
Must scale down
Must work in black & white
Must be balanced
Must be presented on white background
Final Product: There should be 2 versions of the final logo: one with the iconic logo and another without the iconic logo (fonts only). Each version should also include a color and a black/white version, so a total of 4 logos. The final logos should be submitted in Vector files (.ai and .svg files).
