Jennyhedgpeth got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Aunt Aggie's Tomato Smash

Food & Drink
We produce an authentic 1912 family recipe for tomato relish made from local, organic ingredients grown in the Wine Country. The texture is chunky, the taste piquant and it tastes fabulous on hot dogs, hamburgers, with eggs, on broiled fish, and especially with a good cheese on crackers. Wanna relish something? Try Aunt Aggie's!
Logo types to explore
I am looking for a fresh, fun, appealing logo to apply to a jar label ( 16 oz size glass jar) that will attract young -plus foodies (with college educations) and separate my product from ketchup or salsa. The "Aunt Aggie's" name doesn't have to be the boldest part of the label, as tomato relish is in a niche all by itself and needs to be clear. Definitely a big tomato(es) should be on the label... Wanna relish something? Try Aunt Aggie's! ( Slogan)

And then… they selected a winner!
Loparka's design was originally a contender in a contest I ran here a couple years ago. I always liked and remembered her design but was talked into awarding the original win to someone else. I regret this for the last few years and finally got in touch with her to make it right, and pay her for her excellent work! It is elegant, well composed, beautiful to look at and just the right touch of classic and modern. Mahalo Nui Loa from Hawaii!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
