In Our Father's Hands

2018 North Star Conference (not required to be included)

This design is for the annual conference for a Christian non-profit. The theme for the 2018 conference is "In Our Father's Hands" and is meant to evoke the feeling that God is mindful of each individual person and has them encircled with care. We do NOT want a logo that incorporates a literal illustration of hands. We also do NOT want traditional Christian symbols like fish or the cross. Our demographic: mostly millennials.
We need to be appealing to millennials; the right design will have a feel of simple sophistication and is suggestive of the theme rather that extremely literal.
Applications of this logo include, but not limited to: promotional materials (print, online), branded materials, staff and attendee shirts and lanyards, signage, notebooks, stationary, etc.

While these are not required in this particular logo, our primary brand colors are as follows. Don't feel constrained by them, however. I'm open to your ideas for color. It would be nice to have a logo that goes well with these, at least:

The logo should include the words "In Our Father's Hands.” I've uploaded an earlier draft someone did for us. I like the concept of the hand-script, but would really like a vector logo that is more illustrative (vs. just a font-based logo).
