AmExLeag got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for American education company

American Explorers League is a company with a mission to help young Americans learn about foundational technologies, master real-world skills, and build the American civilization of the future. We sell children's books and skill sets intended to help kids learn real-world skills.
Our goal is to have two branding elements we can use for our current main product, children's books. 1) A wordmark: The words "American Explorers League". 2) An icon: A exploration related logo with the initials "AEL". The icon can be the initials themselves, or an image + initials. 3) I would like there to be a connection between the wordmark and the icon. For example, you can link the word "Explorers" and the letter "E". My preferred design elements for the above would be: A) The outline of a Native American arrowhead (or some other iconic image that conveys exploration (e.g. a mountain, a compass, etc.)) OR B) The outline of a spaceship (or some other iconic, space-like image that conveys "exploration") All of our books are written using Montserrat font. Please use this font for any words or letters. Also, all of our books use red, blue, and black text. The shades of blue and red are listed below (hex #). Blue Hex: 1464B4 Red Hex: BF0A30 You may use whatever colors you choose for the words or initials, though we expect that you draw upon the existing color scheme. All logos should be presented on a white background. Attached is a sample cover of our first book, Oldowan. Your logo should obviously integrate well into this simple, modern, presentation. Ultimately, the "AEL" initials/icon would be placed in one of the corners of the book cover, and the "American Explorers League" would be replaced with your logo as well. Thank you!
