seb 7 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Alligator.io
Check out seb 7's Logo design contest…
Alligator.io will be a website with web development tutorials. It'll be edgy, fun and filled with dark humour, with plenty of hand drawn illustrations in the tutorials. On the website, many of the illustrations with contain very lurid language and will be very raw and to the point. That's just to give you an idea of the no-BS approach and dark humour that the website will have. Of course, the logo should look more polished and clean than the website's illustrations. The target audience is 20-something tech-savvy males who live in major US cities like NYC, SF or Los Angeles.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury. Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
