Logo types to explore
We need to look like a trustworthy, security vendor competing in the high end against Google Postini, Cisco IronPort, Symantec/ MessageLabs, McAfee, ProofPoint and Cloudmark. We sell to business and need to appeal to both to IT Managers and CEOs. XM is an excellent example of a very simple logo that I like. Salesforce and VMWare are good examples of sunok It should reflect the email or cloud nature of the offering but it would probably be hard to include both without it becoming too complex. Perhaps a postage stamp with a cloud in the picture or an email emerging from a cloud. A postmark may also be a good direction. I like simple sketch lines like Nissan or Porsche use.
