Very responsive. Paid close attention to my ideas and quickly integrated changes I made to the brief. This designer was very professional and extremely talented. Just gets it.
How WETC started their logo design journey
The Weymouth Educational Telecommunications Corporation, Inc. or WETC is based in Weymouth, MA. We develop documentary-style programs for Weymouth residents to educate and inform them about the town. Our shows mostly focus on the government and town agencies such as the schools, police & fire depts., etc. We've also done more creative programs about Weymouth's history and public service announcements. We also cover government meetings.
We recently launched a new website where people can also watch our programs instead of just on our channel. Our recent updates make our current logo (a TV with antennas) look very outdated and bland.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is Weymouth residents young and old and local officials.
-Professionalism and Creativity would be the two main words that we want people to notice when they see our logo.
-We just redid our website so we'd like the logo to match the theme of the site.
-We'd like to have the logo look nice in two-tone as well as in color.
-We'd prefer to have a logo that integrates with the text (WETC) and the station number (11). Some things that we've thought of are professional video cameras, camera lenses, TVs (no antennas). Another possible icon would be the Weymouth town hall, which is a unique copy of the Old State House in Boston, MA. You can find a picture of it at weymouth.ma.us or if you google Weymouth town hall. None of these items are necessary but just some possible suggestions.
-No film reels, satellites, TVs with antennas
-Our colors are generally blue and white
