The design was great! It came along with the requirements and worked to express themselves a little beyond just the functional asks.
How Lobsterboy started their logo design journey
LobsterHelp.com is quickly becoming the #1 website for all things lobster. Founded in 2007 with the mission of educating people how to cook lobster, LobsterHelp provides step-by-step guides for cooking live lobster and lobster tails. You can also find a collection of recipes, buying lobster guides and an assortment of products such as lobster and other seafood. Once reserved for “fancy” restaurants, lobster is now affordable enough to enjoy at home. Lobster can be intimidating to cook but it’s rather easy if people are shown how. LobsterHelp is on track to be the #1 lobster resource on the web for all things buying, cooking and eating lobster.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Could be anyone but I would like my logo to appeal to an adult target market with a disposable income.
Pay no attention to our existing logo and colors - we are looking for a brand new design - a new "Brand" if you will - to take the place and to build around and incorporate into our new website design (which has not been implemented yet) as well as all forms of advertisement from Banners, Newspaper Print, Flyers, Brochures, TV and Video! As such, the logo designed must look great in any size - from the size on a business card to a letterhead. Again, we are looking for a new BRAND here - something easily recognizable - The design must be eye-catching enough to be noticed while driving down the road at 65 MPH and be instantly identifiable.
