Little Run Retreat is a mixed horticulture farm, primarily producing citrus (oranges, lemons, limes) and avocados. Nestled in its own valley on the mid NSW coast hinterland in Australia, the property features a running creek (Litte Run) and even a pyramid shaped glasshouse. Its target market is retail customers who value organically farmed produce and the idea of knowing where their food comes from, less intensive farming, etc.
The aim of the logo is to convey messages around farming in an idyllic location producing tasty fruit bursting with goodness.
The logo should comprise a square image alongside the name Little Run Retreat (see mockup). The image should be able to be used on its own as a word picture. The type face of the name can be plain text however; some (small) additional treatment is preferred.
Other preferences include:
• natural, earthy colour tones
• simplicity – abstract/minimalist line drawings not images
• reference to the pyramid, but only as part of the overall valley landscape – i.e. don’t make it a feature)
• fruit reference
In general organic customers in Australia are slightly more likely to be female and come from a city/metro area. Age group is less defined however, as most will be purchasing Little Run Retreat fruit for their household, an age range of 30-55 can be assumed.
