ashley.cherishedbliss got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Lifestyle Blog, Cherished Bliss, needs inspired new design!
Check out ashley.cherishedbliss's Logo design contest…
Cherished Bliss is a lifestyle blog focusing home Home Decor, Travel, Recipes, and a general Family Lifestyle. My target audience is women between the age of 25-34 with a college education, however we are looking to broaden our reach to include more men with travel and food.
Currently my blog is focused on Home Decor/Furniture building. We are making some changes in 2018 to open it up to lifestyle as a whole incorporating travel. We will be homeschooling our children to allow for travel. I would like our logo somehow fluidly encompass the main points of the blog (Lifestyle, Recipes, Travel, and Home/Interiors) without pointing to one of those specifically. My personal style is to blend modern with aged items. I love mixing metals and reclaimed wood. When traveling I like to notice the unseen things and typically tend to photograph something that isn't considered beautiful. Wide and Short would be the best design for me since the logo will be going at the top of the blog. I don't want it to push content down below the fold. I've attached an example of how the logo will be displayed in the header. The picture is of the genesis theme I will be using. Something I would like is to include a design element featuring "CB" which stands for Cherished Bliss, as well as having the full words spelled out "Cherished Bliss". If the CB could form some kind of image that would make it recognizable without necessarily needing to read the full title "Cherished Bliss" Looking for something that shows the creative side of the blog, and not look like a generic business. Possibly using a handwritten/script font in combination with a clean modern font. I do prefer a more abstract script font that isn't perfectly even in size. Logo will be placed on a solid white background, so I would like to see it displayed in that way. I definitely prefer to stay in the dark gray, black color, but am open to some other neutral options. Another option would be to incorporate a watercolor background behind the logo. (see attached picture) I would like this to still be in a black/gray color scheme.
