I am looking to create a logo and an image that says something visually about my practice and me. I am skilled at my work but my personal artistic skills are limited to the verbal arena only. That being said, I am certain I will recognize the logo I am looking for once I see it. I have been a chiropractor for a number of years and am opening a new practice and need a new logo to help. There are a number of 'Thrive Chiropractic' offices around the country but only one 'me'. It is difficult to differentiate one chiropractor from another until you are actually getting treated but I think a well designed logo will help achieve that goal. Once patients meet me and I am successful in addressing their needs, my work and character will carry it forward. I want the logo design to help get them there.
I will try and describe what I want but am hoping one of you will be able to ‘visualize’ what I am asking for and create it for me. To assist in this process I am including below an ‘elevator’ speech as I am told it is called. This is basically an amalgam of my personal vision and mission statement I use for treating patients that I started to formalize at the suggestion of a business professional helping me start my business. I hope it will help you.
30 second ‘elevator’ pitch
I am the owner and primary clinician at Thrive Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. My personal mantra is: “In life it is better to thrive than survive.” To that end, my mission is to get people out of pain or discomfort as quickly as I can. Once I have relieved your pain my goal is to teach patients strategies to achieve the type of lifestyle you want, whether through exercise, nutrition or workplace/lifestyle modifications. I am not satisfied by the status quo and want to do more than just get you out of pain, I want to teach you ways to stay pain free and achieve your goals without being held back due to pain or discomfort. Regardless of your desire to compete faster, play longer, wrestle with the kids or just enjoy days more fully, my mission is to get you there. Remember, “In life it is better to thrive than survive.”
This logo will be used for both my web page as well as my business cards and letterhead and I am hoping it will be iconic for me and my practice. With that in mind, a higher dpi count for the image(s) will be important. I don’t really have any color schemes or anything like that in mind. The only visual I am reaching for here verbally is something that suggests ‘thriving’ and/or ‘growth’. As I do lots of work with athletes and athletic performance and rehabilitation, an image that suggests some type of activity or physicality would be nice and evocative but do not feel constrained by that alone. I am not trying to ramble but am hoping my verbal descriptions will spark some creative visualizations on your part.
Thank you all in advance.
