The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) was founded in 1983 and is the world's leading network of LGBTQ-welcoming tourism businesses. We provide free travel resources and information while continuously working to promote equality and safety within LGBTQ tourism worldwide. IGLTA’s members include LGBTQ-friendly accommodations, transport, destinations, service providers, Travel Advisors, tour operators, events and travel media located in over 75 countries.
IGLTA is the authority on LGBTQ travel and leisure. We aim to be fair and inclusive in our work and when it comes to any sort of travel experience, equality is most valued. IGLTA is discerning, cultured and unbiased and we empower and inspire LGBTQ travelers to explore the world. We are the global leader in advancing LGBTQ travel and we believe safe, purpose-driven travel is a human right. For us, tolerance and acceptance for LGBTQ travelers is a global standard for progress.

Our new logo should be modern and gender neutral. The logo should have a balance between youthful and playful while still maintaining a sophisticated look that a professional business audience can appreciate. The logo should particularly appeal to LGBTQ people with a passion for travel. The name IGLTA should appear in the logo but should not be the most prominent feature. The logo should have a recognizable design, icon or symbol that could be used with or without the name IGLTA and still be recognizable to an LGBTQ traveler. The logo should have two versions, one for our association and one for our foundation. The logos will be the same for both, however the world Foundation can appear in the foundation version.
As IGLTA is a global LGBTQ organization, the rainbow has a particular importance to our community. However, when using the rainbow colors, we prefer a more modern approach with a softer color pallet compared to the standard colors in the rainbow flag. We suggest using the colors specified below (or some shades or those indicated) in some combination so that the rainbow colors can be identified together, but that they are not overwhelming or seem overly strong as sometimes overuse can be perceived as tacky in some places. Designs with a modern way to incorporate the rainbow/rainbow colors with a less obvious approach will be preferred.
